ABOUT ME
Having spent my childhood reading books, visiting art galleries, watching films and going to the theatre, it seemed inevitable that when I left school I would work in the Arts and Heritage sector.
For the next 25 years from my first job as a Box Office Assistant to my last full-time job as Head of Marketing and Communications at West Dean College and Gardens, that's what I did.

In 2013 I decided I wanted to pursue a more flexible portfolio career, so I now combine Writing, Researching and Lecturing about Film with Marketing, Fundraising and Project Management primarily working with Charities and Arts Organisations.

1. As a child I was in some TV adverts. Can you spot me in these two?

2. I love swimming in the sea, and since 2020 I started swimming throughout the year, including through the winter. Amazing!

3. Inspired by a course I went on at West Dean, now make jewellery & collages out of found objects.

4. Given that my surname is Cheshire, I was drawn to Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and have built up a collection of over 120 film/TV adapatations. #CheshireonAlice

5. The British film star Margaret Lockwood was my grandfather's first cousin. Sadly, I never met her.
But I do love her films.
