ABOUT ME

Having spent my childhood reading books, visiting art galleries, watching films and going to the theatre, it seemed inevitable that when I left school I would work in the Arts and Heritage sector.

For the next 25 years from my first job as a Box Office Assistant to my last full-time job as Head of Marketing and Communications at West Dean College and Gardens, that's what I did.

In 2013 I decided I wanted to pursue a more flexible portfolio career, so I now combine Writing, Researching and Lecturing about Film with  Marketing, Fundraising and Project Management primarily working with Charities and Arts Organisations.

5 Fun Facts About Me

1. As a child I was in some TV adverts. Can you spot me in this two?

2. I love swimming in the sea and in 2019 I took up freediving. Amazing!

3. Inspired by a course I went on at West Dean, now make jewellery & collages out of found objects.

4. Given that my surname is Cheshire, I have built up a collection of over 120 film/TV adapatations of Alice in Wonderland. #CheshireonAlice

5. The British film star Margaret Lockwood was my grandfather's first cousin. Sadly, I never met her.
But I do love her films.

Do get in touch with me if you'd like to discuss any Marketing, Fundraising & Project Management opportunities or Film Writing and Lecturing projects.
