My work sits at the intersection of cultural history and practice. Alongside my freelance writing about theatre, film and literature, my role as Fundraising and Development Manager at Chichester Cathedral gives me the opportunity to explore history, creativity and place from a different perspective, while helping to support the people, projects and traditions that keep a cultural organisation alive.

Whether I’m telling the story of the music that fills the Cathedral’s spaces, exploring the history and craft behind its historic fabric, or helping to make the case for its future, I’m interested in how we understand, share and sustain our cultural heritage. It’s a chance to bring together the historian and practitioner in me: telling stories, connecting people with the past and helping to ensure that these stories, places and traditions continue to have a future.
